 Why Can Literacy Change Human Life?

Dear judges to whom I respect.

Let me introduce myself, my name is Aulia Tri Sarah Zahara. I am a student of Senior High School Two of Cianjur, West Java.

I would like to share my best of knowledge related to Why can literacy change human life. 

Do you know literacy? Or perhaps you have heard about literacy. I guess everyone know. Basically literacy is most commonly defined as the ability to read and write. We often think that literacy is just reading, but it's actually more than that.  writing speaking listening belongs to literacy too. 

Literacy skills help students gain knowledge through reading as well as using media and technology. These skills also help students create knowledge through writing as well as developing media and technology. Lacking basic reading and writing skills is a tremendous disadvantage. Literacy not only enriches an individual's life, but it creates opportunities for people to develop skills that will help them provide for themselves and their family. 

How often do you use your own reading skills in everyday life? Literacy allows us to make sense of a range of written, visual and spoken texts including books, newspapers, magazines, timetables, DVDs, television and radio programs, maps, conversations and instructions. It’s not just articles that require literacy, but signs, labels, and the messages on your phone, too.

Literacy help someone to read and write effectively, improve the future of everyone in society. Then by reading we can think and make conclusions. When we are literate, our insight become broader and our minds are more open.

Becoming a literate person with broader insight, means we have more understanding about something and take good action plan to do. What did I get because literacy? I can put my idea and share my mind to application for write. I just want to share my experience become a writer because literacy. When I was in 10 grade, I have written a novel and it is published. I wrote it in forty days. Imagine one day one page and you must think how is the idea in post to look fun and interesting. Literacy is impacting so much, that’s why I could finish my novel and then published it. I sold my novels and I got feedback it. we don't have to feel we are just useless people.  everyone has their respective skills.  I don't force you to become a writer.  but I'm just sharing how literacy has impacted my life.

After that people will exchanges ideas, engages in dialogue is more innovative and productive. The sharing of ideas, perspectives and concerns also leads to greater levels of mutual understanding and caring, and ultimately strong spirit.

Being literate is must
